Which RDP plan should I buy?
Pick by workload: Economical RDP suits browsing, light office work and remote access. Encoding RDP, Encoding Beast and Encoding Beast Pro carry much higher CPU benchmarks (up to ~62,500 PassMark), more cores and more RAM — these are the tiers built for video encoding, batch render queues and CPU-bound automation. If you're unsure, start on Economical and upgrade on the same account once you measure your real usage.
What's the difference between Shared and Private RDP?
On a Shared RDP plan several users share the underlying server resources and the IP address — fine for low-intensity workloads and the cheapest entry point. On a Private RDP plan the resources are reserved exclusively for you, you get your own distinct IP address, and you hold the full administrative privileges including server restart and OS reinstall. Private is the right call if you need predictable performance, a clean IP, or admin-level control.
How secure is my data on a Shared RDP plan?
Every Shared RDP user gets their own access-controlled dedicated drive — other users on the same chassis cannot read or list your files. Standard host-side hardening, automatic Windows Update, and 24/7 abuse monitoring apply across the fleet. For workloads with stricter compliance needs, move to Private RDP or a dedicated VPS so the entire OS instance belongs to you alone.
How quickly is an RDP plan delivered?
Most shared and Private RDP plans deploy within 15 minutes of payment confirmation. In rare cases — usually anti-fraud verification on a first order — delivery can take up to 2–4 hours. Login credentials are emailed and also visible inside the client area at /tool/.
Which VPS should I buy?
Spec by workload, not by tier name: count the cores, the RAM, the disk type (SSD vs NVMe) and the OS you actually need. For web hosting and small SaaS, 2–4 vCPU with 4–8 GB RAM is the standard starting point. For databases or build farms, go straight to 8 vCPU / 16+ GB. Do you allow trading bots, automation and digital marketing tools on a VPS?
Yes — Windows VPS and Private RDP are permitted for trading bots, MetaTrader Expert Advisors, survey automation, social-media automation, and digital marketing tooling. Forex VPS is purpose-built for this. The only constraints are network abuse, spam, and anything covered in the ToS prohibitions below.
What is not allowed on a KwikServer VPS?
The full list is in the Terms of Service. The short version: no CSAM (child sexual abuse material) of any kind, no unauthorised hacking or vulnerability scanning of third-party systems, no copyrighted material distributed without licence, no spam or unsolicited bulk mail, no phishing or fraud infrastructure, and no cryptocurrency mining on shared hardware. Legal adult content is permitted on Private RDP, VPS and Dedicated Server.
How fast is VPS provisioning?
Usually inside 15 minutes of payment confirmation. In rare situations — first-order anti-fraud checks, unusual configurations, or out-of-stock locations — provisioning can take up to 2–4 hours. The client area shows live provisioning status the whole way through.
What is a dedicated server, and when do I need one?
A dedicated server is a complete physical machine reserved exclusively for you — all the CPU cores, all the RAM, all the disk bandwidth, all the network capacity. There's no noisy-neighbour effect because there are no neighbours. You'd move from VPS to dedicated when you outgrow shared-host resources (database hot rows, high concurrent connections, GPU workloads, high-egress streaming), when you need specific hardware (ECC RAM, hardware RAID, NVMe pools), or when compliance contracts require single-tenant hardware.
Why pick a dedicated server over a VPS?

How long does dedicated server deployment take?
Most plans deploy in 6–24 hours; stock-on-hand SKUs (the bulk of the German and Dutch menus) typically ship inside 60 minutes. Bespoke configurations — large NVMe pools, custom RAID, extra IPv4 blocks pending RIPE/ARIN approval — can take 1–4 working days. Deployment ETAs are visible in the client area from the moment payment clears.
